Psychotherapy

$125

Psychotherapy, often referred to as talk therapy, is a collaborative process between a person and a trained mental health professional. It provides a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships. The goal is to gain insight, develop coping strategies, and work through challenges to improve overall well-being.

Whether you're facing a specific issue or simply want to understand yourself better, psychotherapy offers a pathway to greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being.

How It Works?

Psychotherapy involves regular sessions where individuals, couples, or groups talk with a therapist. Depending on the approach used—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or mindfulness-based therapies—the therapist helps clients:

  • Understand patterns in thinking and behavior

  • Process past experiences and trauma

  • Develop healthier ways of coping and relating to others

  • Set and work toward personal goals

Therapy can be short-term, focusing on specific issues, or longer-term for more complex or ongoing concerns.

Who Can Benefit?

Psychotherapy can be beneficial for anyone seeking support, personal growth, or a better quality of life. It is especially helpful for those experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, or panic attacks

  • Depression or mood swings

  • Grief or loss

  • Relationship or family difficulties

  • Low self-esteem or self-doubt

  • Life transitions or identity questions

  • Trauma or past abuse

EMDR

$149

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured, evidence-based psychotherapy designed to help individuals heal from the emotional distress caused by traumatic experiences. Unlike traditional talk therapies, EMDR focuses on the brain’s natural ability to process and resolve memories that are "stuck" due to trauma.

If you feel stuck, triggered, or overwhelmed by past experiences—even if they seem “small” or long ago—EMDR may help you move forward with greater ease and confidence.

How It Works

EMDR is a therapy that helps people heal from trauma and emotional distress by targeting unprocessed memories stored in the brain. When a distressing event occurs, the brain may not fully process it, especially if the experience is overwhelming. These “stuck” memories can continue to trigger emotional and physical reactions long after the event has passed.

EMDR helps the brain reprocess these memories so they no longer cause intense emotional responses. During an EMDR session, the therapist guides the client to recall a troubling memory while engaging in bilateral stimulation—such as side-to-side eye movements, tapping, or auditory tones. This stimulation is thought to activate the brain’s natural healing processes, allowing the memory to be stored in a more adaptive, less distressing way.

Over time, the emotional charge of the memory decreases, and new, healthier perspectives can take root. EMDR does not erase the memory—it simply helps clients respond to it with greater calm, clarity, and control.

Who Can Benefit?

EMDR is best known for treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), but research shows it can be effective for a wide range of conditions related to distressing life events or unresolved emotional experiences.

EMDR may benefit people struggling with:

  • Trauma and PTSD (including combat, abuse, accidents, or natural disasters)

  • Anxiety and panic disorders

  • Depression linked to past experiences

  • Grief and complicated loss

  • Phobias and fears

  • Performance anxiety

  • Low self-esteem or negative self-beliefs

  • Chronic pain or illness with emotional components

It is suitable for adults, adolescents, and children, and can be used alone or alongside other therapies.
